LINKWOOD – DRUMCHAPEL
A total of 134 new homes, featuring a mix of flats and houses as well as 16 specially adapted homes for wheelchair users, built on the site of former tenements, close to Drumchapel High School.
Each home will has energy-efficient features including solar panels to cut heating costs. The development, which included £6m grant funding from the Scottish Government, is scheduled for completion by early 2020.
The project was delivered in a partnership between Glasgow Housing Association (GHA) and Cernach Housing Association. 98 of the homes were built for GHA and 36 for Cernach.
